Rosemary Growing Season In India
Rosemary often grows from winter to spring from October to February. Rosemary does not grow well in extremely cold climates. If you are growing rosemary indoors, place the pot in a bright area and keep the soil dry.

How To Grow Rosemary In Pots
Rosemary is a low-maintenance plant, so you can grow it anywhere but growing in pots is the best idea as container soil warms up faster than garden soil and you can place the pot anywhere. You can sow rosemary seeds in a tray and then transplant them into a larger pot when the seedling is at least 10-15 cm tall. The optimum temperature for the germination of rosemary seeds is 18-26°C.

Rosemary Seeds Sowing Method
• Take a seedling tray, fill them with a growing medium, sprinkle the rosemary seeds over the soil and cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil. Water the soil deeply through a watering can and put the pot in a sunny spot. Rosemary seeds are hard to germinate and will take about 2-3 weeks to germinate, they may germinate early or late depending on the growing conditions. 
• After rosemary seeds germination when seedlings are about 10-15 cm tall then, you need to transplant them into a larger pot or grow bag and the plants should be spaced 25-30 cm apart. Add cow manure or vermicompost to the soil for better growth. Try to keep the soil moist after transplanting and avoid over-watering the soil.

Fertilizer For Rosemary Plants 
Rosemary is not a heavy feeder plant, only you can add compost during planting and there is no need for further feeding.

Rosemary Plants Care 
Soil : Use well-drained and sandy soil for planting rosemary. 
Water : Since rosemary is a drought-resistant plant, it requires little water, so water only when the soil is completely dry.
Sunlight : Rosemary thrives in full sunlight which should be at least 6-8 hours; do not plant rosemary in shaded areas as it does not grow well in shade.  
Temperature : The ideal growing temperature for rosemary is 15-29°C, and can withstand high temperatures.  
Common pests and diseases : Aphids and spider mites attack the rosemary plant. Powdery mildew is the biggest problem with rosemary plants due to high humidity and poor air circulation. To protect the rosemary plant from fungal infections, make sure the plant's soil is not too wet, and that there is a proper distance between plants for airflow. Neem oil can be helpful in eliminating pests. 

Harvesting Of Rosemary
Harvest rosemary about 3-4 months after planting. You can harvest fragrant rosemary leaves year-round.
