What is the use of Kasthuri manjal?
• The fresh stalk bearing flowers and leaves can be used as a floral indoor decoration in a vase for up to a week. 
• Kasturi Manjal is used in traditional medicine for external applications for curing skin diseases, sprain, bruises, snake poison and improving skin complexion and texture.

How to grow kasturi manjal?
• Rhizome bits weighing about 15 g with at least one viable bud is planted at a depth of 5 cm. 
•A good mulch with a green or dried leaf or any other suitable organic mulch material is to be applied immediately after planting.

Turmeric is available in two seasons in India i.e., February to May and August to October.
