Kochi fire bush is a summer annual foliage plant grown as an ornamental. It is a tall plant and produces green, lance-shaped leaves that turn red in autumn as they mature. Kochia plant prefers warm climate and can tolerate high drought conditions. Kochia plant grows very quickly, gives an attractive look through their foliage and makes your home and garden beautiful.

Kochia Growing Season In India 
Kochia prefer warm and sunny conditions to thrive, the best time to sow Kochia seeds is spring to summer (February to July).

How To Grow Kochia From Seeds 
Sow Kochia seeds by seedling transplant method when the temperature is around 21-24°C. Since Kochia is a bushy plant, it needs a pot or grow bag at least 30 cm wide and deep.

Kochia Seeds Sowing Method
Take a seedling tray or small pot, fill them with  potting soil mix and spread Kochia seeds in the potting soil. Water the potting mix lightly through a watering can. Keep the seedling tray in full sunlight as it needs light to germinate well. The Kochia Fire seeds will germinate in one to two weeks.
Transplant the seedlings to an individual pot when seedlings are a few inches tall. The spacing between the two plants should be 8 inches for healthy growth.

• Add a nitrogen-rich fertilizer to the potting soil during planting to increase foliage.
