What is the balloon vine good for?
In the traditional Indian medicine systems, this plant is used for the treatment of rheumatism, abdominal pain, orchitis, dropsy, lumbago, skin diseases, cough, nervous disorders and hyperthermia.

What are the benefits of balloon plant?
• It lowers blood sugar and cholesterol levels in the liver and inhibits the release of histamine. Internally: treats coughs with profuse phlegm, colds, bronchitis, pleurisy, pulmonary abscesses and throat infections. It is also used to treat hypertension and diabetes.
• The seeds of this plant are used as a purgative. The bark of this plant is used to prepare a tea that is drunk to treat fever, headaches, toothaches and rheumatic pains. The juice extracted from the leaves of this plant is applied topically to treat ringworm, athlete's foot and jock itch.

How to Grow?
Cardiospermum seeds need to be covered with 1/4 inch of soil and kept moist until germination.
