The bright yellow-green shades with the baby pink midrib (centres) make for a tropical look. Who needs flowers when you can have leaves this beautiful. This plant is a stand out beauty in our curated collection.

Maintenance

This plant does best in medium to bright indirect light settings. Hours of direct sun will easily result in leaf burn. The plant can tolerate lower light just fine, but the vibrant red colour may fade as a result. The plant will also grow slower. Rotate your plant regularly to keep the even shape. It is best to let this plant dry out before watering. These plants can go weeks without water, especially in the winter. However, regular watering will result in better growth.
Note: Be sure not to let the plant sit in pooled water as that can cause root rot. Look out for brown, mushy leaves which is a tell-tale sign of overwatering.

Pet Note

These are toxic to pets, so be careful with your furry friends.
