Parsley Growing Season In India
Parsley is a cool-weather crop that grows best in the fall, winter and spring seasons (October-February). You can also plant parsley indoors in grow lights at any season throughout the year.

How To Grow Parsley In Pots
Parsley is a leafy vegetable that should be planted directly in its final pot and it is recommended not to transplant because parsley has a delicate deep root, so extra care is needed if you are going to transplant. Select pots or grow bags that are at least 30-60 cm and 30-36 cm (wide and deep) that have well-draining holes. The ideal temperature for the germination of parsley seeds is between 18-21°C.

Parsley Seeds Sowing Method
Take a pot or grow bag, fill them with a sowing medium and then sow the parsley seeds about 0.5 cm in the soil and 5-8 cm apart from each seed. Water deeply, keep the soil moist and place the pot in a dark place indoors. Parsley seeds are hard to germinate so it takes about 2-4 weeks to germinate the seed (depending on growing conditions).

Fertilizer For Parsley Plants
Apply a balanced liquid organic fertilizer (Neem Khali, mustard cake or cow manure) during the initial stages of the plant or you can amend the soil with lots of organic matter or compost for better and fast results for parsley plants.

Parsley Plants Care Tips
Soil : Use well-drained, loamy and moist soil for planting parsley.
Water : Parsley plant prefers moist soil during the growing season so, 2.5-5 cm inches of water per week should be given and the soil should be kept moist and avoid overwatering.
Sunlight : Parsley needs full sunlight which should be more than 6 hours.
Temperature : The best-growing temperatures for parsley plants are 10-28°C.
Common pets and diseases : The Parsley plant is attacked by carrot flies, slugs and snails, and some diseases such as leaf spots and root rot infected the plants. To get rid of this problem, it would be right to spray neem oil on the ashwagandha plant from time to time.

Harvesting of Parsley Leaves
• Parsley takes about 70-90 days to mature after planting.
• You can take parsley leaves as required but only cut the leaves when the plant becomes 6 inches tall.
• Cut the stems at the base of the parsley plants so that new leaves grow back.
• Continuous cutting of leaves will encourage the growth of plants.
