Parsley is one of the most popular microgreen Seeds. Parsley microgreens have a mild, sweet flavor, adding complexity and depth to dishes. Parsley microgreens are easy to grow. They’re easy to germinate and sprout in warm indoor temperatures and tend to readily produce nice tasty green leaves with adequate light. Parsley microgreens contain larger quantities of nutrients such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C, potassium, calcium and magnesium. They are also full of antioxidants which protect your body from free radicals that can cause cellular damage.

How To Grow Parsley Microgreen Seeds

Selecting Seeds
Choose high-quality parsley seeds specifically labeled for microgreen production. Common varieties include flat-leaf (Italian) or curly parsley.

Planting Medium
Fill a shallow tray or container with a soilless growing medium. Coconut coir, peat moss or a seed-starting mix are suitable choices.

Sowing Seeds
Sprinkle parsley seeds evenly across the surface of the growing medium. Press them down gently to ensure good seed-to-soil contact.

Watering
Water the seeds thoroughly after planting. Keep the soil consistently moist, but avoid waterlogging.

Covering Seeds
Optionally, cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil or vermiculite. This helps with moisture retention and seed germination.

Providing Light
Place the tray in a location with indirect sunlight or under grow lights. Parsley microgreens don't require direct sun but need good light for healthy growth.

Germination
Parsley seeds will germinate in about 10 to 14 days. Once the seedlings are a few inches tall, they are ready for the next step.

Harvesting
• Harvest parsley microgreens when they reach a height of 5-10 cm. Use scissors to cut them just above the soil level.
• Incorporate freshly harvested parsley microgreens into salads, soups, sandwiches or as a flavorful garnish for various dishes.
