Rocket Growing Season In India
Rucola or arugula is a cool-season plant that will not grow well in extremely hot climates. Sow the arugula seeds in spring to early summer or late summer and Autumn. The months of February-April and June-July or September to November are best for planting Rocket Rucola.

How To Grow In Rocket
Rocket is a fast-growing herb plant that should be grown directly in a pot or grow bag. Since rocket rucola has a shallow root system, it is perfect for growing in containers, plus you can place the container anywhere. Rocket Rucola seeds germinate faster in cool climates when the soil temperature is between 7-18°C.

Rocket Seeds Sowing Method
Take a pot or grow bag, fill them with soil, and add organic nitrogen-rich fertilizer then sow the rocket seeds at a depth of 0.5-0.1 cm in the soil, 2.5 cm apart from each seed, and thin the seedlings later to 12-15 cm apart. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil as Rocket Rucola seeds need light to germinate well. Water the soil deeply through a watering can and put the pot in a sunny spot. Rocket Rucola seeds germinate in about 7-10 days.

Fertilizer For Rocket Plants
Rocket (Arugula) does not require any special fertilizer, yet you can add compost to the soil after the plant is established if you wish.

Rocket Plants Care Tips
Soil : Use well-drained, nutrient-rich, and loamy soil for planting Rocket; however, it grows well in any type of soil.
Water : Rocket needs regular watering for better plant growth. Watering should be done every morning on hot days; If you don't water the plant regularly, the plant will begin to wither and the leaves will lose their flavor.
Sunlight : Rocket plants require at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight each day. However, Rucola grows very well in partial sunlight, especially on hot days in mid-summer.
Temperature : The ideal temperature for growing Rocket Rucola (Arugula) is 18-24°C. The Arugula plant can tolerate cold temperatures while not growing well in high humidity
Common pests and diseases : Some pests such as aphids, slugs, cabbage loopers, and flea beetles attack Rucola plants and diseases powdery mildew and bacterial leaf spot infect the plants. To get rid of the problem it would be right to spray neem oil on the Rocket plants.
